Overview
The Adolescent Medicine Unit at BLK-Max Super Speciality Hospital provides specialised primary care for teens, tweens, and young adults from 10-21 years of age. Our health care team provides medical, nutritional, gynaecological, and psychological care to an adolescent patient suffering from issues such as growth, low self-esteem, psychosocial problems, body image concerns, academics, issues related to sexuality and drug abuse.
Our adolescent specialists work in collaboration with physicians, dieticians, nurses, and mental health providers to provide comprehensive confidential care and conduct counselling sessions for children with adolescent issues. We also impart guidance to parents in order to help them deal with conflicts of young minds.
As an extension to our services, we conduct time to time lectures and sessions for teachers and students at school levels to support the health and wellbeing of young people.
